  3. Great start, Jessica! You and I learned to knit in similar circumstances. My son was a year old and *finally* taking reliable naps. I needed to get my craft on, so I taught myself to knit by watching videos on knittinghelp.com. I, too, said, "No, not I," about spinning, but I caught the bug, too, and bought a (cheap) wheel in July. I've barely had time to spin, though, so I wouldn't count it as 6 months.
